Code of Conduct
Last updated: July 11, 2026
This Code of Conduct is part of our
Terms & Conditions and applies to every Buyer
and Recipient using A Note For You. It exists to keep the Service a safe, personal space — please read it
before adding photos or notes.
1. Our Standard
A Note For You is built for sincere, personal messages between people who care about each other. Every
photo and note you upload must comply with this Code of Conduct, whether it's visible only to you, shared
with a single Recipient, or shared more widely (for example, through the social sharing feature).
Zero tolerance: nudity, sexual content, and content endangering minors.
Nude, sexually explicit, or sexually suggestive photography is strictly prohibited, with no exceptions.
Any content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers a minor is strictly prohibited and will result in
immediate account termination and a report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children
(NCMEC) and/or law enforcement, as required or appropriate.
2. Prohibited Content
You may not upload, send, or share through the Service any content that:
- Contains nudity, sexually explicit material, or sexually suggestive imagery of any person
- Sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors in any way
- Is illegal under applicable law, including content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
- Depicts or promotes violence, self-harm, or illegal activity
- Constitutes harassment, hate speech, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristic
- Impersonates another person or misrepresents your affiliation with a person or organization
- Contains malware, spam, or unsolicited advertising
- Violates another person's privacy, including uploading photos or personal information of someone without their consent
3. Prohibited Conduct
- Using the Service to harass, threaten, or intimidate a Recipient or any other person
- Attempting to bypass a gift's password protection or otherwise access content you're not authorized to view
- Using automated tools to scrape, bulk-download, or abuse the Service
- Interfering with the normal operation of the Service, including its security features
4. Enforcement
If we become aware of content or conduct that violates this Code of Conduct, we may, at our discretion and
without prior notice:
- Remove or disable access to the violating content
- Suspend or permanently terminate the responsible account, without refund
- Report unlawful content — particularly content endangering minors — to NCMEC and/or law enforcement
- Take any other action we consider appropriate to protect users and the integrity of the Service
5. Reporting a Violation
If you're a Recipient (or anyone else) who has seen content or experienced conduct through the Service that
violates this Code of Conduct, please report it to
support@anoteforyou.app. Include as much detail as you can
(the gift link, a description of the issue, and any relevant screenshots) so we can investigate promptly.
We take every report seriously.
